Additional examination attempt after consultation
Previously, a failed module final examination (MFE) could generally be repeated twice. With the 22nd amendment to the ZSP-HU, the HU will implement the possibility, as included in the BerlHG with the last fundamental amendment, to take an additional attempt after participating in an examination consultation and exhausting all regular repetition attempts, effective since 21 January 2025. Before the last regular repetition attempt, the examination board will inform you about the consequences of a final failure of the examination and invite you to a consultation to discuss why the MFE was not passed and provide targeted assistance on how it could be passed in the next attempt. If you have any questions or problems, you can contact the examination office responsible for you.?

Stem Cell Donation – Your Registration Could Save a Life!
The University Health Management (HGM) at HU is organizing stem cell donor registration drives this June and July – at the Mitte campus, Adlershof, and Campus Nord. For many people affected by blood cancer, a stem cell donation is their only chance of recovery. But here's the challenge: for a transplant to be successful, the tissue characteristics of donor and patient must be an almost perfect match – and such matches are rare.
The more people register, the higher the chances that patients find their lifesaving “match.”
Registering is quick, easy, and painless – all it takes is a simple cheek swab to determine your tissue characteristics. Stop by and get involved:
? ? ?June 18, 10 AM–2 PM – Foyer of Mensa Nord, Hannoversche Stra?e 7
? ? ?June 24, 10 AM–2 PM – Foyer of Johann von Neumann-Haus, Rudower Chaussee 25
? ? ?July 3, 10 AM–2 PM – Courtyard of the HU Main Building, Unter den Linden 6
